This post is made in order to help those who are starting in this world of production and need a guide to add their drums kits in FL Studio.
We have decided to use Fl Studio as the DAW of this guide because it is one of the most used by beginners in track production, and we know that most of the newbies may be using FL Studio.
Now you will see a list of simple steps to help you add your best sounds to your DAW for music production.

Step 1
To add sounds we must first have a sound pack.
Here in sound packs is where we specialize, because you can find a wide variety of Drum Kits ideal for making Trap and Lofi tracks.
They are very easy to download, first you must choose a pack to your liking, the one of your preference, there is a lot of variety of packs here.
Once you have chosen your Pack of preference, press the Download button.
This will take you to the checkout page where you must fill your personal information and email.
Once you have filled in the data, click on PLACE ORDER.
You will receive the download link in your email.
Step 2
Once you have downloaded the sound package you will have to unzip it, either from a .rar or .zip file. In this case our packages are compressed in ZIP files.
To unzip the packages you must right click on the file you downloaded, then select the extract here option.
This unzips automatically in a few seconds and you will get the folder of sounds that make up the drum kit.
Step 3
Organize your sound packs in custom folders to keep all your libraries in one easy to find place on your computer.
Actually this step is only so that you can have a better order, simply a recommendation for those who wish to have their packs organized and in an easy place to locate.
Here I show you the folder that I have created to add all my trap packages, as you can appreciate I did it in my Desktop and that I call as “Samples Trap”.
Step 4
Import the downloaded sound folders to Fl Studio.
To perform this step, we must first open our Fl Studio.
Then, we must go to the top left, where there are a series of tools. Select Options.
Some options will appear, and click on File Settings.
We will get a window with all the folders imported into Fl Studio. And there we must open any small folder that has a free space.
Then we locate our sound folder that we want to add and select it.
Now we observe how our sound folder appears in the imported files window.
Once you have done this, just refresh your Fl Studio (Ctrl + R) by clicking this button and your imported sound folder will be in the sound library ready to be used in your projects.
